What began as a commitment to excellence in marine fabrication has grown into a full-spectrum precision execution firm trusted by captains, owners, and yards across the global superyacht fleet.

Where it began

Design Engineered Solutions was born from a simple but powerful conviction — that the superyacht industry deserved a fabrication and installation partner that treated accountability as infrastructure, not an afterthought. We started with metal fabrication and marine welding, building a reputation one documented weld and on-time delivery at a time.

Riviera Beach, FL became our base of operations — strategically positioned to serve the world's most active superyacht corridor, from the Bahamas to the Caribbean and beyond.

How we grew

As owners and captains began calling back with more complex scopes, we built out. Ventilation fabrication. Marine plumbing. Custom machining. Marine electrical. Each discipline was added with the same philosophy: hire certified specialists, integrate them under a single project management framework, and hold every output to an unwavering standard.

Today, DES operates six core disciplines under one roof — coordinated, documented, and executed by a team that has seen every complication the marine environment can produce.

Design Engineered Solutions opens its doors in Riviera Beach, FL — focused on precision metal fabrication and marine welding for the growing superyacht corridor of South Florida.

Custom Machining Capability

In-house machining is established — allowing DES to fabricate one-off precision components and replacement parts without third-party delays, adding a critical capability for complex refit scopes.

Ventilation & Plumbing Added

Responding to growing demand for multi-discipline project capability, DES expands its service offering to include custom HVAC ventilation fabrication and full-scope marine plumbing.

Marine Electrical Integrated

With the addition of ABYC-certified marine electrical, DES completes its six-discipline capability — offering owners and captains a true single-source, multi-discipline execution partner for the first time.

RINA Certified

DES achieves RINA classification certification — formalizing what the team had long delivered in practice. Survey management and class-compliant documentation become a defined service offering.
